The genuine lid uses a Header Rail or Front Bar made from Extruded Aluminium or Steel Angle Bar that is Powder Coated Black, depending on your model of vehicle these are expensive or not made anymore.
In most cases the Hinge Support Plates can be used instead of these, depending on the length of the lid, extra holes might need to be drilled In the Hinge Support Bracket
